The embattled Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kanu, may finally have survived the long incarceration. The Abuja Federal High Court has ordered his immediate release.
This comes a day after the Senior Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 2 discharged Kanu of the allegations brought against him by the DSS.
The accused person is hereby discharged and the case struck out," Magistrate Shuaibu Usman ruled.
Recent reports show that prosecution counsel, Moses Idakwo, said the DSS had found some facts which showed that the accused had been involved in terrorism and had also been financing terrorism hence the matter was no longer under the jurisdiction of the court.
"The complainant is, therefore, applying to discontinue the matter under section 108(1) of the administration of criminal justice act 2015." Idakwo said.
